Saturday night racing action continued at Swainsboro Raceway with the third race of the season. After qualifying in the Zaxby’s Crate Late Model division, Joshua Bishop earned the fastest time over Mallory Harvey. At the green, Bishop took the lead but Cole Godowns pulled out front off turn four. Lap two, Bishop regained off turn two and Shannon Graham moved into the third position as Harvey fell back on the outside. A caution on lap three sent the field double file with Bishop out front. On the restart, Ryan Carter took over third. Lap six, Carter spins off turn four and pits giving up the third position. On the restart, Harvey moved into third off turn two. Lap eight, Graham and Russell Brown Jr make contact causing Brown to pit giving up the fourth position. After another restart, Harvey again makes his move taking over second as Bishop continues his run out front. Godowns didn’t give up battling Harvey for the second position. Five to go, Bishop held a huge lead as the field began to spread out. Joshua Bishop led green to checkered earning his first win of the season, Mallory Harvey held onto second, Cole Godowns third, Henry Carter fourth, and Shannon Graham finished out the top five.

In the 602 Crate Late Model division, Luke Scott and Billy Graham led the field to green. Scott took the lead as Benjamin Cranford pulled into second. Kyle Dudley battled Graham for third. Lap five, Dudley took over third as Graham is lose off four. Before halfway, Luke Scott checked out with the lead by a straight away. Luke Scott continued domination as he picked up his third straight win, Benjamin Cranford second, and Billy Graham ended up with third.

Making his return reigning points champion Andy Stewart picked up the heat race win in the Sunoco Super Street division to start inside pole with Dusty Collins outside. Stewart took the lead with Daniel Roland moving into second. Lap two, Jamie Whitaker was on a run from sixth to third. After a caution, Brent Herndon quickly moved from fourth to second. Lap five, Stewart took a big lead. Andy Stewart picked up his first win of the season, Brent Herndon second, Jamie Whitaker third, Daniel Roland fourth, and Dusty Collins fifth.

Both picking up heat race wins in the Roger Wheeler Construction Road Warrior division, Alf Wimberly and Seth Clark took the green side by side. Wimberly took the lead as Clark pitted after the start. Lap two, Gene Thompson moved in on Wimberly door to door for the lead. Thompson took the lead off four. Three cars battling for first as Logan Tanner made a run at Thompson and Wimberly. Just past halfway, Tanner took inside Wimberly for second and with three to go tried Thompson for the lead in turn four. Gene Thompson held off Logan Tanner picking up his second win of the season, Alf Wimberly third, Matt Davis fourth, and Todd Hutchinson fifth.

Rolling out in the Daniels Chevrolet Pure Stock division, Jamey Donaldson picked up the heat race win after previously having a bad weekend getting caught up in cautions and heavy body damage. Donaldson took the lead as George Williamson challenge Derrick Screws for second. Screws took control of the second position. Brent Herndon quickly moving toward the front took second after starting seventh. Coming to the checkered, last lap move, Brent Herndon took the lead picking up another win for the season. Jamey Donaldson earned second, George Williamson third, Rak Donaldson fourth, Derrick Screws fifth.

Ending a great night of excitement in the Scare House of the South 440 division, three wide on the start, John Whisnant returns and pulls to the lead. Lap two, Tommy Davis takes the lead off four but Whisnant quickly tries the inside off four the next lap. Lap three, Richard Lastinger night ended short involved in caution with his car on its side in turn four. Lastinger safely walked away. On the restart, Skeeter Ryan moved in on Whisnant battle for second. Halfway, after several attempts inside, Whisnant tried the outside of Davis for the lead. Taking the checkered for the second week in a row, also having a wild ride flipping his Super Street during practice multiple times off the back stretch, Tommy Davis was able to celebrate again in Victory Lane, John Whisnant in his first appearance of the season took second, Josh Ryan third, in his third career race Tyler Davis grabbed fourth, and Joe Quarterman fifth.
