Swainsboro Raceway kicked off Saturday racing with the second race of the season.  In the 602 Late Model Sportsman division, Nick Berry and Paul Smith picked up heat race wins leading the field to green.  On the start, Berry took the lead but a caution off turn four sent the field back to restart.  Second restart, pole sitter Nick Berry tagged the inside wall in turn one sending him to the pits for the night.  Morgan Sheffield on the inside Paul Smith takes the lead off turn two on the outside.  Lap two, Canaan Cranford moves inside Cameron Tribble off four for fourth position.  Lap five, John Lariscey gets loose falling back allowing Tribble to move into the third position.  Five to go, Morgan Sheffield leads the way Tribble moves inside Smith for second in turn two and Cranford takes over third. Morgan Sheffield takes the checkered earning his first win at Swainsboro Raceway. Cameron Tribble takes home second, Canaan Cranford third, Paul Smith fourth, and John Lariscey finished out the top five. 

In the Sunoco Super Street division, Andy Stewart checks out with the lead as Monk Gulledge and Brent Herndon battle for second.  Halfway, after a restart, Jared Zimpel moves inside Herndon for third.  Three to go, Herndon regains third.  Andy Stewart takes a 5 second win over Monk Gulledge in second, Brent Herndon third, Jared Zimpel fourth, and Tommy Clinard fifth.

The Zaxby’s Crate Late Model division competed with hot lap qualifying followed by two heat races to set the field for the feature event.  Cody Overton earned the fastest qualifying time and went on to win his heat race with Caleb Gay starting outside.  On the start, Overton bobbles off turn two allowing Gay to take first.  After a red flag event due to Deano Long getting tangled up on the front stretch and rolling, the field went back to green.  Leader Caleb Gay began experience mechanical issues leaking fluid while under red and breaks after going back to green off turn four.  Cody Overton takes the lead and Blake Smith moves into third after starting sixth.  Rye Faulk moving from the back gets inside Dustin Watkins for fifth.  Faulk slips out of the groove losing position.  Halfway, Overton leads the field with half straight away.  Lap eleven, Brandon Carpenter gets inside Blake Smith in turn one to battle for third.  The two get together ending Smiths night early. Three to go, Dustin Watkins tries Carpenter for the third position.  Cody Overton earns his first win at Swainsboro Raceway, Benjamin Cranford takes second, Brandon Carpenter third, Dustin Watkins fourth, and Jim Manka finishes out the top five.

Up next, Justin Williams and Graham Stevenson led the Roger Wheeler Construction Road Warrior division to green after picking up heat race wins.  On the start, Williams takes the lead with Stevenson and Fate Carroll side by side for second.  Stevenson takes second and moves inside Williams to battle for first.  Unfortunately for Stevenson he is forced to pit losing the second position.  Gene Thompson takes the lead outside turn one but Williams spins running second bringing out the caution.  Thompson is forced to move back to the second position with Fate Carroll out front.  Coming off turn two, Carroll gets loose and Thompson gets into Carroll bringing out the caution in front of the field. Fate Carroll leads the field to checkered taking his first win of the season, Jacob Barwick moves up from starting seventh to take home second, Robbie Bland third, Chris Linn fourth, and Jimmy Seigler earns a top five.

In the Daniels Chevrolet Pure Stock division, Andy Stewart sets to make it a double for the night as he takes the lead over Roger McKenzie in second.  Lap two, outside pole sitter Matt Davis slips allowing Luke Scott and George Williamson to get the third and fourth position.  Lap five, Jamie Whitaker is forced to pit with heavy fluid and smoke coming from his car.  Lap six, Roger McKenzie gets in the fluid in turn three slipping from second to fourth.  McKenzie gets back by Williamson for third but after a restart a couple laps later, Williamson takes third again.  Andy Stewart rolls into Victory Lane for a double feature win, Luke Scott picks up second, George Williamson third, Roger McKenzie fourth, and Matt Davis fifth.

Up last in the Scare House of the South 440 division, John Hooks and Tyler Davis led the field to green after winning heat races.  On the start, Hooks takes the lead with Davis inside for second.  Lap two, Hooks gets loose off turn four sending him into the outside retaining wall ending his night with heavy damage.  Davis leads the field back to green and lap four Rod Morris takes the inside off turn two for first.  Lap six, side by side racing, Davis leads off four but Morris regains on the back stretch.  Rod Morris held off Tyler Davis to make it two feature wins in a row.  Randy Bird grabbed a top three finish, Richard Lastinger took home fourth driving the last several laps with a broke and bent right rear tire, Trent Kersey fifth.

Over 200 entries competed at Swainsboro Kart Track for the Big Money Crank It Up 100 event. In the Red Plate division, Brock Simpson grabbed his first win, Joe Brett Sullivan second, and Trey Oliver took third.  In the Green Plate Light division, Braxton Barber grabbed $300 and his first win at Swainsboro Kart Track, Brayden Donaldson second, and Jake Brown third. Barber picked up another win for the night also earning the checkered in Green Plate Heavy with Brayden Donaldson picking up another second, and Chase Litchfield third. Braxton Barber on a roll for win three of the night in Blue Plate, Dalton Hodge second, and Mark Dudley third.  In the Pro Blue division Brayton Barber took the win, Cole Cash second, and Dalton Hodge third. For Predator 350, Payton Johnson celebrated the win, Brandon Green second, and Hank White third. In Predator 375 Williams Horton took the win, Todd Godbee second, and Cameron Barnes third.  Earning $500 payday, Wesley Leblanc took the checkered in the Clone T3 350 event, Jason Swyger second, and Drew Wiltse third.  The Clone T3 375 division competed in a 12 lap dash for cash with Shay Chavous earning the $400 win.  Chavous went on to lead the Clone T3 375 field of 20 karts to win an additional $800, Lance Yeager took second, Drew Wiltse third.  In Clone EL 350, Wesley Leblanc took the checkered, JR Tippins second, Chad Murray third.  The Clone EL 375 division competed in a dash for cash event with Joseph Diekemper taking home $300.  Shay Chavous took the checkered over Joseph Diekemper in the Clone EL 375 feature event to pick up $500 and Wesley Leblanc took third.  For another $400 cash for dash event Terry Caples took the checkered in the Clone Super Heavy 425 division.  Grabbing the $800 payday in the Clone Super Heavy 425 feature event was Terry Caples over Clint Cash in second, and Christian Henson third.  In the Clone Sumo division, David Alewine grabbed first, Shane Black second, and Jason Mitchell third. Daren Akridge took the checkered over Mike Stroyeck in the Outlaw division.
